Who we are…

My name is Jessica Yates and I created Flying Diamond Livestock. Flying Diamond Livestock is based off of my brand I started, as I began my own cow herd. Flying Diamond is an extension of Roy Yates Livestock we are collaborating together to deliver a premium product to you the consumer.  Flying diamond livestock was created to sell premium beef to our local community. Roy Yates Livestock typically sells the calves produced to the general market to be raised by Feed Stockers. We, Roy Yates Livestock and Flying Diamond Livestock, are cutting the middle man out of the equation and are selling our beef straight to you.

Roy Yates the owner of Roy Yates Livestock began raising cattle at the ripe age of twelve years old. Roy has worked hard to build his own cow herd that he has today. Over the past fourteen years Roy has kept only the best cows to produce the best meat at market.  Roy Yates Livestock is a small cow/calf (Rancher who breeds cows for the purpose of raising calves for meat) operation in the central valley of California. This operation consist of mainly the Angus breed with some cross breeding of Hereford and Charolais. These breeds have prime characteristics for quality of meat, finishing ability and natural survival instincts. These characteristic among many more help us build the best genetics for a premium product.
